Riverdale Temple will be installing its new officers at the Friday evening Shabbat service on June 18 at 8 p.m. Charles Baron, a long time member of the temple who actually served as president from 1984 to 1988, will be installed as the new President.

Charlie and his wife, Carolyn, also a past president of the temple, joined the temple in 1966 and have been active members ever since. Charlie is also co-founder of the Riverdale Lifeline to Israel which has raised almost $200,000 to help the people of Israel. Now retired, Charlie was a sales manager for Connecticut Valley Paper and Envelope Company. He and his wife are the parents of David and Lauren, and the grandparents of six children, including two sets of twins.

Also to be installed are William Ban, Michael Putman and Cordell Schacter as vice Presidents, Lydia Silverman as Treasurer, Carole Feinberg, Jean Daniels and Linda Kleinman as Secretaries. The community is welcome to attend the service. Refreshments follow.
